Diplomáticos was founded in 1966 and is a current post-revolutionary brand.
Semi Boite Nature (SBN) boxes were first used to package Diplomáticos cigars. Around 1975, standard dress boxes became available.
It was designed to be a less expensive version of the well-known Montecristo brand, with a focus on the French market.
The Diplomáticos No.2 is the most popular torpedo in Cuba, with over 2 million created annually. Only the top cigarmakers on the island are competent to wrap these 6 1/8 inch by 52 ring torpedos, which are created in Havana’s important factories like as H. Upmann, La Corona, and Partagas.
